In this Sunday’s message, delivered at St. Sarkis Church on February 8, Fr. Nareg reflects on Jesus’ powerful invitation from John 7:37: “If anyone is thirsty, let them come to Me.”
We all understand physical thirst. But Christ speaks of something deeper, a spiritual thirst that no success, power, pleasure, or achievement can truly satisfy. Even when life feels abundant, something within us can remain parched.
Drawing on Psalm 63: “O God, my soul thirsts for You”, this sermon explores the human longing for God and the promise Jesus makes: not only to quench our thirst but also to transform us into fountains of living water.
Through the grace of the Holy Spirit, we are called to become agents of change, bringing refreshment, hope, and healing to others.
Are we seeking spiritual hydration? What flows from within us: living water or bitterness? How can we become a source of grace in the lives of those around us? Watch this reflection and rediscover Christ’s invitation to come, drink, and become a blessing for others.
