The Canon of the Sacraments of Initiation in the Armenian Apostolic Church includes Baptism, Confirmation, and First Communion. These sacraments symbolize initiation into the Armenian Church and are essential for becoming a member of the Body of Christ. Parents and Godparents are crucial in the child's Christian upbringing, and they are responsible for educating the child about the faith. During the baptismal service, Godparents renounce Satan, confess the Baptismal Creed, and state the requests of the child. After the baptism, the child should be fully washed at home on the third day, and the water used for the bath should be poured into the soil.
