On Sunday, March 29, 2026, the Armenian Apostolic Church observed Palm Sunday, which is recognized as a day dedicated to children and youth, as highlighted by the pastor during his sermon. St. Sarkis Church was attended by numerous congregants, with families participating together in the divine liturgy.

Fr. Nareg Terterian, pastor, delivered a noteworthy message, emphasizing the significance of faith in spiritual life. He illustrated that the crowds welcoming Jesus' entrance into Jerusalem acted out of emotion, celebrating and laying their garments before him; however, these same individuals later crucified Jesus, again influenced by emotion rather than faith.

Fr. Nareg clarified the connection between Palm Sunday and its designation as the feast of children and youth, noting that while leaders and Pharisees remained silent, it was the younger generation who loudly praised Jesus with shouts of "Osanna, Osanna."

Following the Divine Liturgy, the Tûrûnpatsék (Opening of the Portal) ceremony was conducted. Subsequently, a Palm Sunday procession involved all attendees, moving to the church gates and then to the main hall, where the Ladies Guild had organized a Bake Sale.
