On Sunday January 19, Dickran Kabarajian held a very informative seminar after the Church service entitled, “Making the Most of Wealth: Financial, Estate, Medicare & Charitable Giving.” During the session, Dickran presented very valuable information about long-term financial planning and defining a financial legacy with estate planning. He delved into wills, probate, charitable giving, and ways to save on Income and Estate taxes.
Dickran volunteered to hold the seminar for the benefit of his beloved St. Sarkis community. Dickran was baptized and raised attending St. Sarkis Church in Bayside, and was a member of the St. Sarkis Basketball team and the AYF Hyortik Chapter. Dickran is an ordained Deacon who serves on the altar at St. Sarkis as well as St. Illuminators Armenian Cathedral.
Dickran graduated St. John’s University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and launched his career in 1992 as a Financial Services Representative with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company after obtaining his License for Life and Health Insurance, and Property and Casualty Insurance. In 1994, he became securities licensed with a Series 6 and 63, some years later obtained the Series 7 and 24 license to be able to sell individual securities, bonds and Advisory Products. He stayed with MetLife focusing on Businessowner clients and High Net Worth Families, earning over 10 Leaders Conference Qualifications and 1 Presidents Conference along with the Quadruple Sales Award. He achieved membership in the industry Million Dollar Round Table in 2008 and has achieved lifetime membership qualification.
In 2003 Dickran established his own Insurance Brokerage called Kabco Benefits Group Ltd to assist companies and individuals with their benefits and insurance needs. His company deals with most forms of insurance with a focus on Group Benefits, Wealth Preservation and Financial Advice. He provides clients with creative, specific, individualized protection and/or benefits while taking advantage of all tax savings opportunities. Dickran is married to Liza and they have three children, Aren, Sarine and Nayira and live on Long Island NY.
