The spirit of camaraderie and community was in full swing as St. Sarkis Armenian Church hosted its second annual Golf Outing at the Harbor Links Golf Course in Port Washington. Blessed with a beautiful day and an enthusiastic turnout, golfers of all skill levels came together for a day of friendly competition and fellowship.

The gathering drew an inspiring mix of parishioners, friends, sponsors, and supporters—both Armenian and non-Armenian—demonstrating a shared commitment to our community and its mission. Whether seasoned golfers or first-time players, everyone shared the same goal: to enjoy a great day while supporting the mission and programs of our church.

The Harbor Links Golf Course provided a stunning backdrop, with its lush greens and scenic views enhancing every moment on the fairway. Teams teed off in high spirits, cheering one another on and celebrating great shots (and laughing off the not-so-great ones). Throughout the day, golfers enjoyed refreshments, camaraderie, and the joy of being part of such a special community event.

As the sun began to set, everyone gathered for a beautiful evening cocktail dinner filled with warmth and laughter. Additional guests joined the golfers for a night of good food and great company. The highlight of the evening was the raffle drawing, which featured an impressive 21 raffle prizes including golf gear, gift baskets, experiences and other fantastic giveaways. The excitement and generosity in the room reflected the true spirit of St. Sarkis Church: a community united by faith, friendship, and gratitude.

Thank you to the Golf Committee, whose hard work and dedication made this event such a success. Under the exceptional leadership of Simon Bardizbanian, and through the outstanding teamwork of Harry Seoylemezian, Naz Markarian, Levon Kassabian, and Harry Kasparian, the day came together beautifully.

The Golf Committee also extends its sincere appreciation to the generous sponsors and raffle donors, whose vital contributions made this special occasion possible. And a heartfelt thank you as well to Diane Boyadjian, Vicky Hagobian, Laura Asadourian, and Lara Bardizbanian for their invaluable help on the day of the event and their support throughout the planning process.

Plans are already underway for next year's event, which promises to be even bigger and better. Until then, memories of laughter, fellowship, and a few lucky birdies will keep everyone looking forward to the next round!
