In this inspiring sermon, Rev. Fr. Nareg Terterian, pastor of St. Sarkis Armenian Apostolic Church, reflects on the question that everyone must face: Who are you?

Through readings from Ephesians 1:1–14 and Luke 8:17–21, Fr. Nareg invites us to look beyond what we do or what we like, and to rediscover who we truly are in Christ.

St. Paul reminds us that before the creation of the world, God chose us to be His children. Our identity is not something we invent; it is something we receive as a divine gift.

Drawing on the Gospel of Luke, Fr. Nareg explores Jesus’ teaching that “nothing is hidden that will not be disclosed.” Just as a small light can illuminate a dark room, the Word of God shines through our lives. We are called not to hide our light, but to let it shine—through love, patience, honesty, and faith.

This message also challenges families and communities to nurture faith together: - Parents modeling love and patience - Children practicing kindness and truth -Families worshiping and recharging spiritually through the Church.

At a time when our identities are constantly shifting, God and the Church remain our anchor.

We are invited to reconnect with worship, to consciously choose faith, and to live as children of the Light.
