A Joyful Gathering of Our Beloved Sages
It was a cold and snowy day in New York, but in the hearts of our Sages, the sun shone brighter than ever. Under the welcoming roof of our beloved church, they gathered with joy and anticipation, ready to spend precious time with longtime friends. Pagoumian Hall, beautifully decorated by our devoted chairlady, Mrs. Zepiur Ardzivian, glowed with warmth as cheerful voices filled the room.
The morning began, as always, with a comforting cup of coffee, a delicious cake prepared by Mrs. Katia Tavitian, and delectable pecan cookies prepared by Mrs. Hilda Gorgissian. Laughter, lively conversation, and heartfelt moments of catching up set the perfect tone for the day.
Soon after, the group transitioned to their favorite game—Bingo! Excitement filled the hall as many of our Sages won small gifts, adding even more joy to the already vibrant atmosphere.
At noon, following a heartfelt prayer offered by Der Nareg, everyone gathered to enjoy a delicious lunch. The meal was thoughtfully prepared by the lovely Mrs. Evelyn Nenejian in memory of her beloved husband, Boghos Nenejian. Mrs. Nenejian’s culinary talents made the afternoon both meaningful and truly special.

Every dish was prepared with love by Mrs. Evelyn Nenejian, whose dedication and hard work ensured the meal was as warm and memorable as the company.
After lunch, the celebration continued with coffee and delightful desserts. Soon, Pagoumian Hall came alive with beautiful traditional Armenian songs, joyfully sung by our enthusiastic Sages alongside Mrs. Zepiur Ardzivian. The atmosphere was uplifting, and the shared happiness was truly contagious.
We look forward to seeing everyone again on February 18th, when we will gather once more to enjoy another beautiful time together and celebrate Valentine’s Day, with many more surprises in store. We can’t wait to see you there!
