A Joyful Thanksgiving Gathering of Our Sages Despite the Rain
It was a rainy day in New York, but in the hearts of our Sages, the sun shone brighter than ever. Under the welcoming roof of our beloved church, they gathered with joy and anticipation to celebrate Thanksgiving, ready to spend precious time with longtime friends. Pagoumian Hall, beautifully decorated by our devoted chairlady, Mrs. Zepiur Ardzivian, glowed with warmth as cheerful voices filled the room.
The morning began, as always, with a comforting cup of coffee and an array of delicious desserts lovingly prepared by the committee. Laughter, conversation, and heartfelt moments of catching up set the perfect tone for the day.
Soon after, the group transitioned to their favorite game—Bingo! Excitement filled the hall as many of our Sages won small gifts, adding even more joy to the already vibrant atmosphere.
At noon, following a heartfelt prayer offered by Der Nareg, everyone gathered to enjoy a delicious lunch. The meal was thoughtfully prepared by our wonderful ladies—Mrs. Zepiur Ardzivian, Yn. Annie Terterian, and Mrs. Lena Felice—whose dedication and culinary talents made the afternoon truly special.
We extend special thanks to those who generously donated key ingredients for the feast:
Every dish was cooked with love by Mrs. Ardzivian, Yn. Annie, and Mrs. Felice, whose hard work ensured that the meal was as warm and memorable as the company.
After lunch, the celebration continued with coffee and a delicious cake in honor of Mrs. Evelyn Nenejian’s birthday. The hall soon came alive with beautiful traditional Armenian songs, sung joyfully by our enthusiastic Sages alongside Mrs. Zepiur Ardzivian. The ambiance was uplifting, and the happiness shared was truly contagious.
We look forward to seeing everyone again on December 17th, when we will gather once more to enjoy another beautiful time together and celebrate Christmas with dancing and many more suprises…………..can’t wait to see you there.
Don’t forget to make your reservations !!!
Blessings to all.
