It was a rainy day in New York, but in our Sages’ hearts the sun was shining stronger than ever. They gathered eagerly under the roof of our lovely church to enjoy precious time with their friends. Pagoumian hall was beautifully decorated by our one and only chairlady, Zepiur Ardzivian, and the room was full of cheerful and chatty voices of all the participants.
The morning started as always with a cup of coffee and delicious desserts prepared by the committee members and one of our guests, Didi Kasparian, while catching up on their lives.
Then they quickly moved to their favorite game of Bingo, where many of the Sages won small gifts.
At noon, after a prayer with Der Nareg, they were ready to enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by our lovely ladies: Zepiur Ardzivian and Yn. Annie Terterian followed by coffee, and delicious cake to celebrate the birthday of Sandy Shamlian.
Then, our happy and enthusiastic Sages sang traditional Armenian songs along with Mrs. Zepiur Ardzivian and accompanied on the piano by Mrs. Nona. The ambiance was amazing and their happiness was contagious.
We look forward to seeing everyone on June 18 and enjoy a beautiful time together.
Blessings to all.
