On Sunday, November 2, 2025, St. Sarkis held a beautiful Family Badarak Day in partnership with our auxiliary and sister organizations - including Salt & Light, Ladies Guild, Basketball, Saturday School, ARF, AYF, Homenetmen, and Scouts.
200 parishioners, spanning multiple generations, joyfully came together in prayer, song and fellowship. The choir loft and altar were filled with our youth, serving alongside Der Hayr and joyfully leading the celebration of the Badarak. Each parishioner received a very illuminating overview of the Badarak prepared by Der Nareg, explaining the structure and important meaning of each of its four components. Our hearts are full with appreciation for every family who shared in this uplifting day of faith and community.
We extend our gratitude to the Salt & Light families that hosted fellowship after Badarak. We also thank the organizers, led by Razmik Nenejian, including Toros Aladjian, Nyrie Bedrossian, Juliet Hagobian, Sonya Nenejian, Annita Nerses, Garo Tateossian, Nikki Yaghjian and Yn. Annie Terterian. Please join us on Sundays to participate in this transformative communal celebration of our Divine Liturgy!
