On Friday, April 11th, over 70 youth members from our St. Sarkis Salt & Light Youth Group gathered for their 4th session of the season. After eating dinner all together in the Main. Hall, the youth attended the Friday night Vesper Service in the Sanctuary. His Eminence Archbishop Anoushavan Tanielian was present for this Vesper Service and with Der Nareg, led the youth and parishioners through the evenings prayers. After the service, Der Nareg addressed the youth group members and gave them an overview of the different days and services observed through Holy Week, starting with Palm Sunday all the way through Easter Sunday. As he portrayed the story and meaning behind each of the various services held throughout Holy Week, he invited the youth to be present for as many as they could attend. After the discussion, all our youth group members gathered around Srpazan and Der Nareg for a beautiful group picture in the Sanctuary. The evening ended with dessert and social time for everyone in the Main Hall. Our youth group members will meet again for their final session of this season on Friday, May 2nd.
