Thursday, April 3rd marked the 5th week of the Lenten series here at St. Sarkis Church. The Vesper Service lead by Fr. Nareg Terterian was followed by a reflection on the Lenten season. His inspiring message to us during this time of fasting, is of a different type of hunger we must fulfill.. that when we pray, we should ask God for spiritual nourishment, and every day we need that sustenance from God to keep us going on our spiritual journey. The lenten dinner that followed was hosted with love by the family of Mr. Garo Vanessian in honor of his 40th day memoriam
