On Sunday, March 15, 2026, St. Sarkis Church conducted its annual General Membership meeting. The meeting was chaired by Mr. John Megerian, Esq., with Dr. Harry Kasparian serving as recording secretary.

The Pastor’s Report was presented by Fr. Nareg Terterian, while Dr. Annita Nerses, Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees, delivered the Board’s Annual Report. Mr. Razmik Nenejian presented the 2025 financial report. During the meeting, the proposed 2026 budget was reviewed and approved by the membership.

Elections were also held for the Board of Trustees and delegates to the National Representative Assembly (NRA). We are pleased to welcome Mr. Michael Gostanian as a newly elected member of the Board of Trustees and congratulate Mrs. Arev Mouradian on her election as alternate. The full slate of elected members is as follows:

2026 Board of Trustees: Mr. Simon Bardizbanian, Esq., Mr. Veh Bezdikian, Mrs. Diane Boyadjian, Mrs. Lena Felice, Mr Hagop Gorgissian, Mr. Michael Gostanian, Mrs. Vicky Hagobian, Mrs. Mary Kasparian, Dr. Garo Nazarian, Mr. Razmik Nenejian, and Dr. Annita Nerses. Mrs. Arev Mouradian will serve as alternate.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to outgoing Board of Trustees member Mr. Harry Seoylemezian for his many years of distinguished service as both Board Member and Chair. We also thank the dedicated parishioners who accepted nomination to run for the Board of Trustees. Their willingness to serve reflects the strength and commitment of our St. Sarkis community.

 We are also grateful to the members of the Nominating Committee—Mrs. Lara Bardizbanian, Mrs. Arpine Bezdikian, Mrs. Liza Kabarajian, and Mr. Sevan Yekhpairian—and the Audit Committee—Mr. George Tavitian, Mr. Armen Tutuyan, Mr. Patrick Yaghdjian, and Mrs. Victoria Yekhpairian—for their valuable work and support leading up to the meeting.

Finally, we extend our sincere gratitude to all church members who participated in Sunday’s meeting. Membership is vital to the life and future of our parish. Though we may be small in number, we are strong in faith, community, and devotion to our Church. The involvement and engagement of each of you is essential to sustaining and strengthening St. Sarkis for generations to come.
