First Lenten Vesper

February 18th marked the first Wednesday of the Great Lent. St. Sarkis Church community gathered for the Vesper service, opened their hearts for spiritual growth through prayer and reflection. Lenten Vespers are a great time to express our faith and participate in the service as a community of believers.
It was a great moment to meditate on the Word of God with the guidance of our parish priest Fr. Nareg Terterian who took the Gospel of Mark for this year’s Lenten Bible Study and took us to the first stop of the Lenten journey.
After the Bible Study, the community gathered in the Pagoomian hall to have a fellowship hour and taste Lenten dishes prepared by our talented ladies.
