This past Saturday, September 14th, St. Sarkis Church’s Suzanne and Hovsep Hagopian Saturday School welcomed its students back to the 2024-2025 school year. And what a great day it was! Our new principal, Yn Annie Terterian, and our new assistant principal, Lena Felice, greeted all the students and their parents. All our teachers were happy to see the kids’ smiling faces and talk about their great summers. It was a happy reunion for our returning students and a new beginning for others. It was truly remarkable to see our classrooms and halls full of life again.
This year, we have made some positive changes to the school day and added two new programs. Der Nareg teaches a graduate program for older children, and Emma Marcarian runs a “parent and me” program for children under 3.
If you are still interested in learning more about our school or registering for the year, please stop by church on Saturday mornings and talk to our staff. Our school hours are from 9:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
