On Monday, August 4, at 6:00 pm a huge explosion shook the entire city of Beirut, taking the lives of at least 135 people and displaced 5,000. The Armenian community lost 11 people with 250 injured. The Catholicosate, churches, institutions, stores, residences are all damaged. The psychological impact is unimaginable. Our resolve is to provide aid to all affected.

Fr. Nareg asked the members of the Salt & Light group members to be the voice of the suffering and provide help for the Armenian brothers and sisters in Lebanon.
