Father's Day BBQ Party
Reported by Vicky Hagobian
This past Sunday, June 16th, the St. Sarkis Ladies Guild and the ARS Erebouni chapter held a successful Father’s Day barbeque. The weather was going to be unpredictable so the event was held indoors in the main hall but it seemed like it was sunny inside. With over 100 adults and 20 plus children in attendance, you could say everyone was having fun.
The environment was relaxing and casual and, of course, there were plenty of hamburgers to go around. Harout Khatchadourian was the DJ for the afternoon and he played some great Armenian songs. Der Nareg and Harry Seoylemezian, our new Chairman of the Board, got up to welcome everyone and wish the wonderful fathers, father figures, grandfathers, uncles and brothers in our lives a Happy Father’s Day.
Overall, the barbeque was an enjoyable family event and all ages were entertained in their own way.
