All 3 Saint Sarkis basketball teams saw action during the 1st 2 weeks of the Armenian Churches Sports Association season.
The Senior Boys team, ages 15-18, led by the Dilakian twins and Chris Avakyan surprised a very strong Holy Martyrs team and won a well played, exciting game. Makar Makarian was the high scorer with 23 points, sharp shooting from everywhere. Armand Baclagian and Artiom Hakobyan contributed as well. Andre Asarian was not able to attend but will be an effective and contributing member of the team.

The Saint Sarkis Girls team in its 2nd season won their season opener against St. Leon 2 team. Lead by Alexandra Kasparian and Mimi Bijimenian on defense and offense, and contributions from Isabel Hakobyan and Tony Orangian on offense, the team will provide much excitement to all its supporters.
